1673 first general map of the Americas by Robert Morden and William Berry. Unrecognized for over 50 years, immediately spotted,”This might be something special.” The map was sold within three days to a leading map specialist at a dealer’s price of $12,200.

A “sackback” Windsor chair with a charming lean. Examination under blacklight revealed a date beneath the seat, 1776. A rare surviving instance of American furniture.

Set four early 20th century Whistler restrikes, sold $300 each.

An engraving of Rebecca at the well after Luca Di Giordano, sold $360.

A rare Japanese vase in a natural ash glaze.

Queen Anne dressing table, likely Boston, circa 1730.

Several notebooks replete with Mickey Mantle, Hank Aaron, and rare T-cards worth millions at auction, stuffed in the cabinetry of a laundry room nestled in their sleeves.
